Well, Partly i expected and new de ending because a person could not live for 8 days without any air to breath, food to eat or something to drink so i think madelen`s ghost is what appeard, not her body.

1.I am agree with richi ,but if she die and Usher heard her crys and because of that he imagined that she was behind him.In conclution for my Usher die part for a hard mental desorder and part of scare.2.For my the narrator at the moment of Ushers dead he feel:scared,confused and that caused the fast accion that he made.2b.Or the spirit of madelane appered(thing that i think that not happend)and kill Usher.

I did expect that Roderick and Madeline would die I think that was obvious but I didnt know the house was in some way involved in the Usher family itself 5/19/2010 07:42:22 am
When Usher said that Madeline was cataleptic and she was buried, it was very much possible that she would be still living, but what I didn't expect

i did exect it because after all madeline and rodrick would die, and i always thought that she was in shock because of her illnes, and it could also be that rodrick after all he had done y had a big mental desorder and he imagine everything

i kneew that madeline and roderick were going to die but i didnt expected that roderick was going to burry madeline alive and then she reapeard alive,as a ghost or just roderick and the narrator´s imagination.

Well, i thought that the house was going to fall but not within this way, and that Madeleine and Roderick were going to die was evident for me but i didn´t think that all this would happen in this way.

I knew that madeline and roderick were going to die, but what I did not know was that the house was going to fall or that madeline and roderick had been married. I liked the ending but I don`t have it too clear yet.

Honestly, I didn't eXpect that ending, I didn't expect that the narrator would finish alive I thought someone was going to kill him. It was wierd. Also I thought Madeline was dead, whe suddently, SHE APPEARS, or her soul, whatever, and Roderick says he put her in the coffin alive! There are many doubts around in my head, why did the narrator choose THAT book, that had something to do with what was really happening? Or what about the house falling down? It's misterious. I liked that ending and I liked very much the story, it is interesting, but I need to analyse it to know and deduce what had really happend.

I was not expecting that ending. I thought the that "the fall of the house of usher" was most like a metaphor, i never thought of the house falling apart. It was obviously that Roderick would die but i never expected that would be in that way and even less that madeline was alive. i liked the ending because it surprised me.

It was a litle obvious that Madeline was alive but i didn´t expect that she would appear like a ghost and whit blood in her cloth,and of course i didn´t expect that Roderick would die.

I realized at the beginning that the house of usher was going to fall, but it was a big surprise for me that the narrator escaped from the house of usher being alive. The ending was not what i expected but i liked it a lot. Everything is like connected with something else, for example, the story that the narrator choose to tell Rodrick. It was an excellent Gothic Story.

I thought that madeline had not died because otherwise the story should have ended with his death but as it didn´t end something had to happen to Madeline, because she could not appear in history to do nothing and die just like that.

i thougth that roderick will died soon and that madeleine too but that madeleine killing roderick no and that the house will fell after all the usher died that i didn't imagine

pato, i did exept that ending, it was obvious that madeleine had not die, and as the title said, the story is called the FALL of the house of uhser. we did had to expect that something about "falling" although the family ending or the crumbled of the house could happened. And if madeleine and roderick died, why did the narrator wouldnt? i will have that doubt for the rest of my life...

I did not expected the story to end like that but i had the feeling that something important was going to happen,and personally i think they were all mad or the narrator was in a conspiracy to kill the siblings.

I did expected the ending, because as the story was called "The Fall of the House of Usher", it was obvious that the house would fall. And about Madeleine, I realised that she was not completely dead when the Narrator reads the book and the sounds he reads in the story he hears them just a few seconds after reading them. At that moment, I was 100% sure she was alive.

Well, the ending was totally unexpected.I thought it would have been a bit much different. I never would have thought about Madeleine alive...I just thought she had died...It never came to my mind all that. Leave a Reply. |
